Vatican Museum & Sistine Chapel

You will find boutiques and stores for every economic preference is just a short drive away from your hotel. On request we may also take you to a nice outlet mall just outside the city; about 30 to 40 minutes drive.

Pope's summer residence
Around the city of Rome is an awesome countryside, filled with vineyards and olive tree fields, encompassed by a hilly territory. Right on top of one of the most beautiful Roman Hills, is the Summer Residence of the Pope in a town called Castel Gandolfo.

Tivoli
In Tivoli, a very ancient city, situated on a hill outside Rome, you may have the possibility of visiting the immense Hadrian's Villa and the Villa d'Este with its gardens. You will spend the day at the Roman Emperor Hadrian's residence at Villa Adriana and then the estate of the 16th Century Cardinal Ippolito D'Este.

Ostia
Within a 30 minutes drive, you will reach a memorable place: ancient Ostia. An entire city, founded in the 4th century B.C., and excavated many times, shares its past with you in its ruins, showing you the way of life of the first inhabitants of this port city.

Pre-cruise tour of Rome
As you arrive in Rome by plane, one of our drivers will be waiting for you at the exit gate, then he will show you the city of Rome before eventually taking you to the cruise port. The duration of this tour is flexible and can be arranged via e-mail prior to your arrival in Rome.
